Usually you drink your vodka or scotch on the rocks. Tale takes it a bit more serious, the designed a tumbler inspired by the Matterhorn. The Matterhorn (German), Monte Cervino (Italian) or Mont Cervin (French), is a mountain in the Pennine Alps on the border between Switzerland and Italy. Its summit is 4,478 metres (14,690 ft) high, making it one of the highest peaks in the Alps. Bottoms up!

Prinsengracht – Amsterdam, Holland by Guy Jacobs & Felix van Asch van Wijck

Amsterdam is well known for its cultural heritage and historical significance. This unique apartment of 400m² across one level is located at the Prinsengracht. The six window wide view is very uncommon in the city centre of Amsterdam. The apartment is located in a building with typical neck gables and was build in the first half of the 18th century. Materials for the skin of the apartment are warm and neutral, herringbone plank bleached oak flooring and walnut doors. One of the many fine details are the doors, they cover from floor to the ceiling. Every room in the apartment has its own bathroom and the master bedroom has a built in sauna and steam cabin. Developed by Guy Jacobs & Felix van Asch van Wijck and built by Flow.

Flatliner by Shaw Speed & Custom

Normally we only drink a Flatliner at Vlamboyant HQ. Steve Willis with his company Shaw Speed & Custom built his own Flatliner. They rebuild this Harley Davidson from the 1930’s with a nice modern twist. He actually calls it “the beauty trapped within”.

Burning Man – Rites of Passage

The 25th Burning Man festival took place in the Black Rock Desert – Nevada, US. Nowadays the event is more a temporary city than a traditional festival. This year more than 50.000 people enjoyed a week-long celebration of arts and music. In 1986 the ‘Burning Man’ itself starts with the length of 2.4m, in 25 years it grows to a height of 37m!
